I am also a Leader!

Currently there is a misconception among Colombian millennial and centennial workers that only those collaborators who hold a high position in companies, who have staff in charge and/or who are managing a project can be leaders. The idea of this article is to contest this concept and delve deeper into what it means to be leaders.

For me, a leader is a person who has specific human skills that allow him or her to have fluid work, excellent interpersonal relationships, and a generally balanced life. When we look closely at this definition, which as I indicate is developed according to my experience, we can realize that leadership must always be focused on ourselves as human beings. The idea is that through this set of skills we can be references of good for the community that constantly observes our behavior.

In this order of ideas, the simple fact of having established activities for the development of your work as a collaborator of a company, makes you have a leadership role in relation to your management, which will help you stand out and be assertive in achieving and achieving your own goals and objectives.

In this way, we can realize that any role you play in the company, no matter how small you think it is, will allow you to fully exploit your profile as a professional and above all you will be able to say, ¡yo también soy líder!
